Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 September 2026.
Legal texts are translated so they’re easy to understand; if there’s any difference, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Who provides the service
Remesia is an application operated by Jeison Córdoba, as an individual, based in Spain. You can get in touch by email at jscordoba.9018@gmail.com with any questions about these terms.
2. What Remesia is
Remesia is a personal and family finance tool: tracking income and expenses (fixed and variable), budgets, loans, splitting shared expenses among the members of a household, and following money sent in another currency or to another country. It is not a financial institution, it does not make real payments or transfers, and it does not provide financial, tax or legal advice — the calculations it shows are indicative, based on the data you enter yourself.
3. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Remesia you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy; if you subscribe to the paid plan, also the Refund Policy. If you don’t agree, you should not sign up or use the application.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have your legal guardian’s permission, to create an account.
- You can sign up with Google or with an email and password; in the second case you need to confirm a link sent to your email before you can log in.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for the activity on your account.
- I may revoke access to an account or delete it, particularly in the event of misuse, abuse of the service or breach of these terms.
- You can stop using Remesia and ask for your account to be deleted at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Remesia to:
- Carry out illegal or fraudulent activities.
- Try to access other people’s accounts or data without authorisation.
- Overload, interfere with or try to breach the security of the service.
- Record third parties’ data without their consent (e.g. adding someone to a household without their knowledge).
6. Accuracy of data
The amounts, currencies, exchange rates and other information you enter are your responsibility. Remesia calculates totals, splits and projections from that data and from reference exchange rates (automatic or set by hand) — it does not guarantee that they match the actual rate of your bank or transfer service at the time of a specific transaction.
7. Service availability
Remesia is provided “as is”, while it is still growing, with no guarantee of continuous availability. There may be interruptions, maintenance or changes in functionality without prior notice. The database is backed up regularly, but full recovery after any incident is not guaranteed.
8. Paid plan
The paid plan isn’t on sale yet. These conditions will apply from the moment it is.
- Reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it charges you, issues the invoice and handles questions about payments and refunds. When you pay you also accept its buyer terms.
- Price. €3.99 a month or €39.99 a year. Before paying you see the final amount, including any taxes that apply in your country.
- Free trial. The first time you subscribe you get 14 days free; if you cancel before they end, you won’t be charged anything.
- Renewal and cancellation. The plan renews automatically every month or every year until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from Settings or from the link in your receipt. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you paid for; after that your account moves to the free plan and your data is kept.
- Failed payments. If a payment can’t be taken, Paddle retries it; if it isn’t resolved, your account moves to the free plan.
- Price changes. We’ll let you know at least 30 days in advance and you can cancel before they apply.
- Refunds. See the Refund Policy.
9. Changes
These terms and the service may be updated over time. Important changes will be announced within the application itself or by email. Continuing to use Remesia after a change means you accept it.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for financial decisions made on the basis of Remesia’s calculations, or for losses arising from service interruptions, errors in reference exchange rates, or data loss not covered by backups.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts under Spanish consumer protection rules, without prejudice to your right, as a consumer, to go to the courts where you live.
